This Weeks Projects
This week was the long awaited and eagerly anticipated punch needle embroidery class at Country Needleworks! You can see the little practice piece we worked on in class it was great fun! I look forward to drawing my own designs and framing them up all over the place!!!
At long last I have figured out this little bootie, I actually ended up changing it from the original pattern, but the look and the idea is similar. And I have crocheted a shell pattern hat to accompany the booties, both are a new arrival gift for little Miss Molly, the adorable new baby of a sweet couple I know. I added the double, flat crocheted flowers as an embellishment. Both items are knitted/crocheted using Sirdar Snuggly Baby Bamboo in cream color, which was a dream to work with! I can see myself using it again and again, I love bamboo, this one is blended with a bit of wool, no harm there. I think I shall nearly be able to complete the entire set from one ball, I'll let you know, I must knit the other bootie now that I have work out a pattern I am happy with.
That's just a little snippet of what I've been working on, I hope everyone has a nice weekend.
Blessings Friends!
Melissa
