Faerie Bells and Daffodils

I thought I'd share some new spin-ins I've been tinkering with. I've made them with silk cocoons which I hand paint using silk dye, then I steam set them to fix the colors. These latest creations are another variation of my HotHouseFlowers.

These newer flowers have more detail, tiny little touches here and there. I love fussing over little projects like this and I already have plans for them!

Now I'm off to go see what all the creative folks have been working on this week over at Wonder Why and Natural Suburbia, the Friday blog hops are really inspiring, pop over and check them out!

I hope you have a wonderful, creative weekend! Blessings Friends!

  2. Oh yes, you would definitely need more than one of these...how amazing they are. I imagine they even smell good! The colors are something you want to taste and I can hear the tiny tinkles. A feast for all the senses...ahhh.

  3. These are just beautiful little bells and flowers. Ya know the first part of the verification word starts with "dyin" must be an omen.

  11. Oops, sorry about that Fallingladies, I should have added that detail for the non-spinners, it's a decorative element to add/spin into handspun yarn.

  12. Thanks for clarifying for this non-spinner. These are BEAUTIFUL and look fabulous on the branch. I can see how it would be the type of project that just keeps on evolving, one happy decorative step at a time.
